Shenae Grimes wears a little bit of rock ‘n’ roll to the red carpet at the 2010 Annual MuchMusic Video Awards held on Sunday (June 20) in Toronto, Canada.
The 20-year-old Canadian native tweeted a few hours ago, “En route to MMVAs with baby bros [Adin and Liam]!! X.”
During the ceremony, Shenae introduced the pop punk band Marianas Trench, who performed their song “Celebrity Status” — on the roof!
Also hitting the red carpet is Shenae’s fellow CW star, Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev.

Shenae Grimes and Jamie Johnston: Real-Life Couple?

Shenae Grimes and Jamie Johnston played onscreen love interests when they co-starred in Degrassi: The Next Generation, as Darcy and Peter. The two have a seriously dramatic relationship, but whether it extends into their real lives is up for debate.
The fansite 90210show.net lists Shenae’s celebrity crush as Jamie Johnston (ooh la la) but realistically, they’re probably not an offscreen item. Shenae has moved onto 90210, and last summer JustJared.com linked her to another guy named Ethan Rapoport-Cole. That’s much more recently than she’s been linked to Johnston, for the record.
In an interview with Teen.com, however, Johnston did say of his character’s relationship with Darcy, “They had a pretty strong relationship. She was probably the best girlfriend for him.”
He added of Grimes, “I miss her.” Check it out below:

90210 star Shenae Grimes took a trip back home yesterday (June 20th) to attend the 2010 Much Music Video Awards in Toronto. Shenae looked pretty in a black dress with her hair in a high bun as she greeted fans on the red carpet.
Shenae will soon head back to Los Angeles, where she will reprise her role as Annie Wilson for the third season of the CW’s hit show 90210.

Former 90210 stars Shannen Doherty, Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth have all reprised their roles on the hit show’s recent reincarnation, and current starlet Shenae Grimes is ready to welcome back one more familiar face — none other than Dylan McKay himself, Luke Perry!
“I’ve always said this: Luke Perry is welcome back any time!” the 20-year-old actress gushed at Nylon’s Young Hollywood party at the Roosevelt Hotel May 12.
But Shenae says a few familiar faces WON’T be returning to West Beverly — including Donna Martin, Brenda Walsh and Kelly Taylor. When asked if any of the former stars would be reappearing, the actress quickly said, “I don’t think so, no. From this point forward, no.”

She’s always up to something and yesterday (April 13) Shenae Grimes was spotted out and about in Toronto, Canada.
The “90210” babe was all smiles as she arrived at the MTV Canada studios to make an appearance on MTV’s “The Hills After Show.”
And of course, Shenae was dressed to impress, sporting a dark grey jacket overtop a black dress with torn black stockings and black heels.
During her “MTV The Hills After Show” interview, hosts Dan Levy and Jessi Cruickshank asked Miss Grimes about her experience with the paparazzi, and what it was like growing up with rapper Drake.

Shenae Grimes Hosts Charity Event With 90210 Stars

Shenae Grimes hosted an exciting event for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on Wednesday, celebrating art, friends, family and, above all, charity.
Held at the Avalon Beverly Hills, the event showcased over 20 photographs taken by Shenae Grimes of her dear friend, Laura Worthington who has been bravely battling her Hodgkins Lymphoma. Aiming to raise awareness and money for those affected by Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, proceeds from the sales of the photos helped raise thousands of dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
‘90210’ castmates came and showed their support of the cause, bidding on photos, mingling with guests and admiring the photographs. A sharp looking Kevin Connolly arrived with a pal and relaxed poolside in a cabana after greeting Shenae and Laura and bidding on photos as well. Towards the end of the night Shenae gave a very organic and moving speech, thanking guests and sponsors, and above all her good friend and muse, Laura Worthington.
Other stars spotted at the event included Daniel Franzese, Dustin Milligan, Lilly Collins, Michael Steger and Ryan Eggold.

90210 star SHENAE GRIMES enjoys reading the tabloids because she’s fascinated by untrue rumours about her private life.
The actress admits she’s been the subject of numerous false stories over the years, including rumours of drug abuse and eating disorders.
She is adamant all the outrageous claims aren’t true – but she gets a kick out of reading them.
In an appearance on U.S. TV show Chelsea Lately, she jokes, “I was a diva, I was a cokehead, I was anorexic – all sorts of bad stuff! I was a busy girl, working… and keeping up all those bad habits. It’s more fun to read the bad stuff.”
